A Little About Me
What qualifies me to do all of this apart from my Breakup & Divorce Coaching qualifications and personal experience? Yes personal experience, I am a mother of two amazing boys and a co-parent.
I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector for nearly 35 years caring, supporting and guiding individuals to gain and maintain independence and to develop the lives they want!
This included both people I have been supporting who were using services and also a vast number of staff through life’s personal ups and downs during their support meetings as well as along their career paths gaining experience and completing qualifications.
I am now using this extensive knowledge, skills and experience in a different way alongside my more recent qualifications in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Time Line Therapy and Hypnosis Therapy.
All of the above places me in a great position to share my haze busting toolkit with you to ensure you reach your true potential.
Working Together
I'm really passionate about valuing people and their individual and unique journeys. I offer an empathetic, understanding and non judgmental service which is inclusive, making it very much client-centred. The personal attributes to expect from me are, honesty, openness and transparency alongside a firm but fair attitude to keep you focused on moving forward.
I am an expert by lived experience as well as having coaching qualifications. The work we will do together is all about ensuring you take back control, to remain in the driving seat of your own life once you’ve decided on the direction you wish to go. I will be supporting you to find a new positive outlook on who you can become whilst supporting you to navigate any difficult terrain. This might be at any stage of your relationship.
To do this we will have one to one sessions which will be led by you. It is a safe space for you to have someone in your corner listening, championing you, ready with the compass, map of the terrain and the rest of the toolkit if you go off course or feel lost.
If you are still unsure, why don’t you book in for a discovery call to chat through any unanswered questions in person.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to try to treat conditions or change habits.
What happens in a hypnotherapy session
There are different types of hypnotherapy, and different ways of hypnotising someone.
First, you'll usually have a talk with your therapist to discuss what you hope to achieve and agree what methods your therapist will use.
lead you into a deeply relaxed state – most people feel refreshed and relaxed
use your agreed methods to help you towards your goals – for example, suggesting that you do not want to carry out a certain habit
gradually bring you out of the trance-like state. Most people feel refreshed and relaxed
You're fully in control when under hypnosis and do not have to take on the therapist's suggestions if you do not want to.
If necessary, you can bring yourself out of the hypnotic state.
Hypnosis does not work if you do not want to be hypnotised.
NLP
Neuro The nervous system (the mind), through which our experience is processed via five senses:
Visual
Auditory
Kinaesthetic
Olfactory
Gustatory
Linguistic: Language and other nonverbal communication systems through which our neural representations are coded, ordered and given meaning. Includes:
Pictures
Sounds
Feelings
Tastes
Smells
Words (Self Talk)
Programming: The ability to discover and utilize the programs that we run (our communication to ourselves and others) in our neurological systems to achieve our specific and desired outcomes.
In other words, NLP is how to use the language of the mind to consistently achieve our specific and desired outcomes.
Time Line Therapy™
Time Line Therapy™ (TLT) is a hypnotic approach created by NLP practitioner, Tad James. It derives from NLP and is based on the concept that our unconscious mind stores memories in a linear pattern (like a timeline). Simply put, this timeline is a mental photo album of our life.
